Fishing was excellent with 241 fish caught and most returned alive. Three boats with 22 anglers on board fished in good conditions north of Valentia. The Wicklow-registered firms only listed director - as The Kerryman went to press – is hotelier Jude Kirk, and documents show that the new company is proposing to work from the Skellig Star Hotel in Cahersiveen. Skellig Hotel Experience Ltd was registered as a company on January 22 with its principal activity given as being in 'reservation service and related activities'. No other details about the venture have been provided and Deputy Healy-Rae told the media that the venture is "in its early stages." In the most recent register of Dáil members interests - which was published by the House of the Oireachtas in the last week - Deputy Healy-Rae has listed the directorship of 'Skellig Hotel Experience Ltd' among his interests.
